Quick-Turn Prototyping

Sedona leverages manufacturing relationships for quick-turn prototype capabilities of partial or full product developments. Working with a select vendor base, Sedona has excellent relationships with PCB manufacturers and assembly suppliers allowing for quick-turn of board developments.

Sedona prototyping capabilities include:

FDM Rapid Prototyping is widely used by Sedona to prototype Electrical PC boards (checking board size, component height, placement, etc.) in the early stages of design as well as Mechanical pieces.

FDM uses real production thermoplastics that do not employ dangerous materials. The parts manufactured are stable and have no appreciable warpage, shrinkage, or moisture absorption. FDM prototyping is best suited for fit, form, function requirements. SLA/SLS prototyping is better suited to modelling where a high cosmetic finish is required, but is more susceptible to warpage.
